ACTIVE ATTACK INTEGRATED RESPONSE (AAIR)

The AAIR Course is taught as a Direct Delivery for first responders over 2 days/ 16Hrs or to Certify Instructors as a Train-The-Trainer (T3) over 5 Days/ 40Hrs. It provides a model framework for an integrated multi-agency response. This hands-on course covers the following topics: Concepts & Principles of Close Quarter Battle (CQB), Arrival and Approach, Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC) Direct Threat Care (DTC) & Indirect Threat Care, Room Entry Techniques, Priorities of Work at Crisis Site, Incident Command, Improvised Explosive Devices (IED) and the Rescue Task Force (RTF) Evacuation Model. The course has multiple extended scenarios designed to challenge ad hoc teams to deal with an active attack event.
