LEVEL 1

The LEVEL 1 Course is taught as a Direct Delivery for first responders over 2 days / 16Hrs or to Certify Instructors as a Train-The-Trainer (T3) over 5 Days / 40Hrs. This course focuses on Isolating, Distracting or neutralizing the threat in order to Stop the killing. This hands-on course covers the following topics: Concepts & Principles of Close Quarter Battle (CQB), Arrival and Approach, Breaching Considerations, Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC) Direct Threat Care (DTC), Individual & Team Movement Techniques, Set up and Room Entry Techniques, Priorities of Work at Crisis Site, Incident Command, Improvised Explosive Devices (IED) and the Law Enforcement Evacuation Model. The course has multiple dynamic force-on-force scenarios and concludes with extended scenarios designed to challenge ad hoc teams to deal with an active attack event.
